About the course

The assessment of the postoperative patient is very crucial in recognizing the patient’s existing state and to observe any complications that might occur. Postoperative patients must be monitored and assessed closely for any deterioration in condition and the relevant postoperative care plan or pathway must be implemented.

This course aims at improving the knowledge of nurses regarding the current changes in theory and clinical skills. It also helps nurses to understand that constant monitoring and interventions prevent post operative complications and lead to quicker patient recovery.
